The Marketing Tools Included with Real: What Agents Actually Get in 2026
What marketing tools are included with Real Brokerage? Real agents get the Real Design Center and MAXA design platform (flyers, postcards, social graphics, listing presentations), an AI content writer, MLS-populated templates, a royalty-free media library, ready-made social shareables, and live marketing training — included with the brokerage.
If you've been researching Real, you've probably heard plenty about the commission split, the stock awards, and revenue share. Those get all the airtime. What gets far less attention is the part you'd actually touch every single day: the marketing stack.
And that matters, because marketing is where most agents quietly bleed money. A design subscription here, a template shop membership there, a stock photo plan, a direct mail vendor — it adds up to a few hundred dollars a month before you've generated a single lead. So the real question isn't "does Real have marketing tools?" It's "which ones are included, which ones cost extra, and would they replace what I'm already paying for?"
Here's the honest breakdown, whether you're selling in the Inland Empire, out in Riverside County, or on the Texas side around Lake Travis.
Real Design Center: The Hub
The Real Design Center is the front door to everything marketing-related at Real. It's a portal that houses three things: access to MAXA (the main design tool), a library of ready-to-share content built by Real's own marketing team, and a curated set of Canva designs.
The ready-to-share content is the piece agents underuse. These are finished graphics — holiday posts, company milestones, industry recognition, evergreen campaigns — that require zero editing. You download and post. If you've ever stared at a blank Tuesday with nothing to publish, that library exists for exactly that moment.
The Canva selection is smaller and more curated, and it works with either a free or Pro Canva account. Useful if Canva is already your comfort zone.
MAXA: The Design Engine
MAXA is where the heavy lifting happens. It's Real's editable template platform for flyers, postcards, social media designs, listing presentations, and print collateral. A few features worth calling out:
- MLS integration that pulls your listing photos and data directly into a template (available in select U.S. locations). No more re-typing bed/bath counts into a flyer at 10 p.m.
- Localized market statistics you can drop into a post — genuinely handy if you're publishing monthly market updates for a specific city or ZIP.
- A royalty-free photo and video library, so you're not paying for a separate stock subscription.
- A background remover for headshots and product-style graphics.
- A QR code generator with analytics, meaning you can actually see whether the code on your open house flyer got scanned.
- An AI content writer that drafts property descriptions, fills in listing and buyer presentations, translates copy into another language, and writes social captions.
- Direct mail services for U.S. agents, with Canada listed as coming.
That last one deserves a note. If you farm a neighborhood — say a specific tract in Eastvale or a pocket around Hudson Bend — being able to design and mail from the same place you built the piece removes a real friction point.
Transaction and AI Tools That Support Your Marketing
Marketing doesn't stop at graphics. A few adjacent tools shape how you show up to clients:
reZEN is Real's in-house transaction and business platform. It handles transactions, documents, commission tracking, and progress toward cap. It isn't a marketing tool per se, but it's where your business data lives — and clean data is what makes marketing measurable.
Leo CoPilot is Real's AI assistant for agents, used for things like contract review and support questions. Real's ecosystem also includes Hey Leo, a consumer-facing AI product, alongside reZEN and Real Wallet. Hey Leo is Real's own consumer home search experience, built natively on reZEN with MLS data, and has been rolling out on a state-by-state basis through 2026 — worth confirming its current status in your state before you build a marketing plan around it.
Real Academy runs live and on-demand training, including a recurring marketing-focused session for new agents. Training isn't a tool, exactly, but a tool you never learn is just another login.
What Costs Extra
This is the part most recruiting posts skip, so let's be direct.
Lofty CRM is not free. Real partners with Lofty (formerly Chime) to offer a discounted rate, and Real's own support documentation lists it at $50 per month for individual agents, with separate team pricing tiers. That's a meaningful discount against Lofty's standard commercial pricing, but it's still a line item. Lofty is where you'd get the IDX website, lead routing, drip campaigns, and AI follow-up.
Real gives you CRM flexibility rather than forcing one. If you already run Follow Up Boss, kvCORE, or something custom, you can keep it. That's a genuine advantage for an established agent — and a small burden for a new one, since "choose your own" means nobody sets it up for you.
Print and swag are ordered at your cost. Templates are provided; printing is still printing.
Does This Actually Replace What You're Paying For?
Run the math on your own stack. For a lot of agents, the Design Center plus MAXA replaces a template membership (often $50–$60/month), a stock media subscription, and possibly a separate direct mail vendor. That's the realistic savings zone — not "everything is free," but "several recurring costs collapse into one."
What it doesn't replace is a CRM and lead generation engine. Budget for that separately.
One more piece of 2026 context: Real announced its acquisition of RE/MAX, with the two companies set to merge under a holding company called Real REMAX Group, and technology was central to how both sides framed the deal. If you're evaluating Real right now, it's reasonable to ask your sponsor how the marketing toolset is expected to evolve after integration.
FAQ
Is the Real Design Center free for Real agents? Yes — the Design Center portal and MAXA access come with your Real agent account, including the template library, market statistics, royalty-free media, and AI content writer. Printing and direct mail postage are billed separately.
Does Real provide a website for agents? Real does not include a full IDX website in its base offering. Agent websites typically come through the Lofty partnership at the discounted monthly rate, or through whatever platform you choose to bring with you.
Can I keep my own branding at Real? Yes. Real supports agents and teams operating under their own brand while using the brokerage's infrastructure and compliance support — which is why so many Real agents look nothing alike on Instagram.
